Robert Pattinson Talks 'Remember Me', 'Bel Ami' and what makes him happy...

Yesterday, press junkets were held for Remember Me with Robert Pattinson, Emilie De Ravin, and Chris Cooper for the upcoming romantic drama Remember Me. Since Rob was there to talk about Remember Me, information about Twilight was limited.

Was there a time where you were sitting with Alan Coulter and the producer and something clicked for you? Can you talk about why you were attracted to this character, and about taking that step to produce?

Robert Pattinson: Well, the producing thing. (laughs) I’m kind of embarrassed about the producing thing because I wasn’t really acting like a proper producer. I only really came on after the shoot just to kind of help Alan and Nick make sure that the product was what the product in which we all wanted to make in the end. It was the summer after the first Twilight thing. I read it then and I met with Alan and Nick. I thought they were really great, and I talked to them for hours about it. I think basically what I commented to them about was, what shocked me was I was reading a ton of scripts and it just didn’t fall into any, the way the dialogue was written and the plot was structured, it didn’t fit into any kind of normal category. It didn’t seem very formulaic. I had just read tons and tons of formulaic scripts in one genre or another and it was just such a relief to find that. There was also something about Tyler, the way he reacted to things seemed very relatable to me, and I hadn’t seen another character like it in like 100 scripts. So that’s why when the period came up between New Moon and Eclipse, we only had two months, you can’t really do that much, it’s difficult to find a movie which can fit in such a short period. It seemed like the perfect fit.

He’s a rebellious character, especially against his father. Were you attracted to that idea?

Pattinson: I mean, I don’t know if it was so much about just the rebellion that interested me. I liked how it seemed like Tyler didn’t really know what he was rebelling against. It seemed like no matter what his father was like, no matter what everyone around him is like, he’d still be rebelling. There was one interesting thing, I liked how he wasn’t fighting against everybody, he only chose to fight against his father. I think it was a pretty broken family to begin with, and I think he just takes out all of his rage on his father because his father is the only one who can take it. I mean if he tried to attack his mother, she’d probably end up killing herself or something. She’s too wounded to be able to take that. I don’t think it’s particularly typical rebel. It just comes in fits and starts all the time, so I think he’s kind of faking it. I think what he’s really rebelling against is himself.

Were there any scenes that were cut from the movie that you wished stayed?

Pattinson: I don’t know, I haven’t seen the final cut. (laughs)

What was your favorite scene to film, then?

Pattinson: I like the scene where Tyler confronts his little sister’s bullies. Basically because I kind of fancy which I would have myself just kind of being the tough guy. Actually there was more of a take that was cut out, or they didn’t use. When I pushed the little girls desk that was bullying her, and the first take I pushed it too hard and she fell on the floor and the desk on her. She looked absolutely terrified after, and it just became this turn into a psychopath. (laughs) And they had to cut it out, because they were like “you wouldn’t just go to jail for vandalism, you’d go for child abuse.” (laughs) That would really change the story. That was quite fun.

Both characters seem to really be embracing life, and I think audiences will really come away with that. What do you think is the overall feeling around love. What will people learn from watching this film?

Pattinson: I think one of the things, which I always liked about it, is that he doesn’t. Like when you meet someone who you feel whatever for, it doesn’t necessarily mean that that’s a finish line, and that’s like “oh you’ll be alright now afterwards.” I think that worked in the relationship with Allie and Tyler. I think it’s to show that its sort of ok to have, if you just have one moment of happiness, where you can feel that you’re happy, even if it just lasts for a minute. It’s worth a lot. Because I think people now, everyone does all of these things because they think they should be happy like all the time. Doing therapy, and taking anti-depressants and all of these things. If you’re happy all of the time, it’s difficult to acknowledge when you actually are happy.

What makes you happy?

Pattinson: I don’t know. It’s like these weird little things. It’s like what I was trying to put across in the movie, when funny little things happen, it’s not just meeting Allie, it’s all of these things kind of melds together and it hits you from left field, and you’re just like “oh yeah, I’m happy” (laughs)

This movie is so steep. The locations are amazing in the film, and it feels so authentically New York. What’s interesting to me is so much of the cast aren’t New Yorkers and don’t have a New York accent, and you’re Brooklyn accent is on point. I wonder if, working on that, what kind of research you did, or if you knew a lot about New York in 2001. And what it was like to film in the streets of New York?

Pattinson: My sister lived in New York for like 5 years and I used to go visit her all the time. I don’t know. When I read the script there seemed to be a sort of voice that was just there as soon as you read it. I’ve never had a dialect coach or anything. Ironically I’ve only had a dialect coach for this film I’m doing now, which I’m doing now in an English accent. (laughs) I guess I’ve forgotten how to do an English accent.

But what was it like for you to film in Queens, at NYU, what was that like?

Pattinson: It was nice. Obviously it was great for doing stuff at NYU, you’re filming at NYU, which is perfect. I like this bar, I went in there a few times before we starting shooting. That’s not really research. (laughing) Oh yeah I just went to a couple of bars. (laughs)

So that was a sum total of your New York research?

Pattinson: (laughs) No, I mean it was nice. I was sort of staying, it’s difficult to go out and stuff there at the time. I’ve gone out more in New York since. There’s funny little things which happened, experiences which I had in New York which were put into the script. Like a friend of mine, the whole fight in the beginning, how that was all set up, it happened to a friend of mine the day before we did the rewrites to the script. We were down in Alphabet City, and this guy jumped out of the car with a little mini baseball bat and just hit my friend in the face. The whole thing. It was literally the day before. The whole thing was put into the movie. (laughing) Annoyingly, I didn’t react in the same way. (laughing)

You ran?

Pattinson: (laughing) I didn’t see what was happening until it was too late. (laughs) Even when the police asked me, they asked all the people around to give a testimony. The police looked at me and was like “oh it’s alright you don’t have to give one”, and it was because of the Twilight thing. I was like “no, I want to give a testimony!” (laughing) “I want to be a witness!”

Alan spoke a lot about your focus that you had to maintain while shooting because of the constant paparazzi attention and the screaming fans. What was that like for you to shoot such an emotional movie under the eye of people Twittering about it, and people screaming at you?

Pattinson: It’s like the first two weeks were kind of crazy, because I was all around NYU and Washington Square park and there’d be tons of people around anyway. I think it was annoying people as well, that all of these crowds came and disrupted peoples days, so that was really difficult at the beginning. But, I think after that you just get used to it. You just block certain things out. I was trying to figure out a way to use the sort of rage that was built up, but you couldn’t really use it for that character. If the same thing had happened during this movie that I’m doing now, it would have been perfect and I could have gone around hitting paparazzi and stuff and it would have been great because I would have been staying in character. (laughs) But it didn’t really work for Tyler, he’s not that kind of guy.

Do you see yourself trying to sort of make a big gap between Twilight and everything else you do so people realize there this…something so different from the phenomenon that everybody focus on?

More to you

Pattinson: No, I don’t really focus on trying to do it, I don’t think. I pick scripts the same way, I think, that I’ve always done. I barely like anything, and so it’s kind of easy to pick your jobs. The things which I’m signed onto now are all completely different. Like I’m playing a white Comanche in one thing and the parts completely in Comanche. Bel Ami is, I thought there was a kind of irony in Bel Ami as well, because a lot of the women are attracted to this character and then he kind of screws them over and steals their money and stuff. (laughs) Which I thought was quite funny compared to the Twilight character. (laughing) It’s kind of the polar opposite. It wasn’t intentional, I just thought Bel Ami was very funny, and it’s a very interesting character. With Remember Me, I’d never done a simple story before, and it’s not that simple, but its playing a normal guy and trying to relate to things on a normal level it’s kind of relief in a lot of ways.

It reminded me of James Dean on a slight, with the rebel without a cause. Did you think of him in sort of a classical way? When you said he’s rebelling against himself, that this is just someone who’s just someone who’s sort of in a fury about the way the world is.

Pattinson: I think it’s a fairly typical state to be in. I think there’s that element, but I was also interested in the kind of, in Tyler there was a lot of elements of sort of arrogance things about him, which I thought were quite interesting. To have a loss in your family, and then I think a lot of the fighting in his family is because he feels like the attention has kind of gone off of him a bit. You have these petty things, which turn you into this iconic rebel or whatever, and it’s just based on these silly things, kind of like almost despicable emotions that you have about it. I tried to make that apparent in Remember Me. There’s a reason why James Dean stereotype is so common, especially in actors, I think. I think its pretty real. It’s also an ideal for young guys I think. I think, anyway. Because as soon as you stop struggling against something, what have you got to do? That’s the whole point being young, struggling against things.

Your chemistry with the younger sister character was so strong. Can you talk about what you had to do, and if there was anything different you had to do finding that with a child actor?

Pattinson: She did everything; I mean completely. On the first day I met her. Me, Alan, and Emilie were sitting around discussing our scenes together and she hadn’t really said anything, and I kind of asked just to be nice. I was just like [ducking his head down and talking just above a whisper] “so, you know what do you think about it?” And she’s sitting there with her pencil and engaged in this whole diatribe of her characters back story and everything, and in the most interesting way. And she’d be writing notes, about all of the stuff we were saying, like quoting what we were saying. She’s phenomenal. She’s going to be a massive actress, I think. She’s the best improviser I’ve ever met. You can literally say anything to her, and she’ll completely stay in character. Even if the camera is not on her, she’ll stay completely in character the whole time. Also, she’s no actressy as well. She’s kind of like one of those weird, hyper-intelligent, hyper-mature kid. Then I saw her with her little friends and just like a little girl when you see her with her friends. I just don’t understand how that happens at all. She’s so easy to act with, you don’t have to do anything, just look at her. It’s the first time since the day I began acting where I just feel completely unselfconscious, because I could feel that she wasn’t at all and it rubs off on me. I love when she was like “you’re so retarted” (laughs) That’s just an 11 year old girl thing to say.

How was it to work with Emilie?

Pattinson: She’s great, yeah. And completely different to what I…what I thought was going to be cast.

Are you a fan of LOST?

Pattinson: I’ve never seen it

What are your thoughts on the Breaking Dawn being two films?

What Does Robert Pattinson Think of Breaking Dawn Times Two?

Do you really want to see more Robert Pattinson? Are you sure?!

We kid, but something tells us the prospect of more Pattz may be a big part of your mass desire for Breaking Dawn to be a two-parter. While the fourth and final installment of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series has plenty going on—weddings, babies and, of course, a final showdown or two—the official decision to break it down into a pair of movies has yet to be made.

Kristen Stewart told us earlier this month that she's with you! She thinks the book "absolutely warrants" a double-feature and "it would be hard to cram all of it into one movie."

But what does the world's hottest sparkle vamp think?

Unlike other things, Pattz isn't allergic to the idea. In his true, laid-back fashion, he's just going with the flow.

"I don't mind either way," he admits to E! News during the Remember Me press junket in New York City on Saturday.

Two movies would mean extended action sequences (yeah, that kind of action) with K.Stew, so we have to imagine he really wouldn't mind...

Anna Kendrick Dishes on Her Oscar Date...

From E!Online:

Anna Kendrick won't be bringing any beau to the Oscars next Sunday. The Up in the Air star is planning to make the star-studded event a family affair.

The 24-year-old former actress, who pulled double duty in the Twilight Saga, told E! News she's bringing her mom and brother as dates to the glitzy awards show.

"I'm flying them out. I'm so excited," Kendrick said Saturday at Zac Posen's celebration for his new Z Spoke collection in Beverly Hills. "My mom wants to meet George Clooney."

Inside of the private dinner at Mr. Chow alongside the likes of Rachel Bilson, Emma Roberts and Nicky Hilton, Kendrick dished on how she's staying cool until the big day.

While she's trying to relax and enjoy the awards season, Kendrick admitted she's been under more stress than usual. She couldn't even watch the Oscar nomination annoucement.

"I was too nervous to sit and watch the nominations, so I went for a run at five in the morning," Kendrick said. "I just waited for my roommate to text me. And then it was actually really nice because I was sort of alone in the dark. I kind of wanted to shout, but I didn't want to wake everyone up at 5:30 in the morning."

While Kendrick has no problem talking up her Oscar dates, she is keeping mum about her Oscar dress.

"I'm not allowed to talk about what I wear," Kendrick said. "But I'm going to try it on in a few days and it's beautiful. I'm really excited about it. It's a designer that I've worn [before]."

Kendrick said that while having the top-secret gown custom-made from a sketch left her feeling a little like a "human mannequin," she is looking forward to picking out her jewels.

"That's going to be the fun part," Kendrick said. "That's the part where I get to play."

8 'Remember Me' Movie Clips....

Some Spoilers!

With Robert Pattinson’s new movie Remember Me getting ready to open on March 12, we’ve been provided with 8 clips from the film. If you’re the type that loves watching as much footage before a movie comes out, you’ll love these clips. Saying that, I always think movies are better knowing as little as possible, so if you can resist the urge, avoid watching them. I just wanted to give you the option.

And while an embargo prevents me from saying too much about Remember Me, I think it’s safe to say I really enjoyed the movie. I walked in knowing nothing about story except who was in it, and the movie really drew me in and surprised me in a lot of ways. The only thing I really want to stress to all of you is avoid every review and spoiler online. If you know too much walking in, the twists and turns won’t mean as much to you. I didn’t know anything in advance and am happy I had that experience.

Remember Me also stars Emilie de Ravin, Pierce Brosnan, and Chris Cooper. Allen Coulter directed the film and William Fetters wrote.

Here’s the synopsis:

In the romantic drama Remember Me, Robert Pattinson plays Tyler, a rebellious young man in New York City who has had a strained relationship with his father (Pierce Brosnan) ever since tragedy separated their family. Tyler didn’t think anyone could possibly understand what he was going through, until the day he met Ally (Emilie de Ravin) through an unusual twist of fate. Love was the last thing on his mind, but as her spirit unexpectedly heals and inspires him, he begins to fall for her. Through their love, he begins to find happiness and meaning in his life. Soon, hidden secrets are revealed and tragedy lingers in the air, as the circumstances that brought them together threaten to tear them apart.

KSTEW, RPATZ, TOMSTU, AND THE YELLOW BAG?

Recently Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and friend Tom Sturridge were photographed arriving in New York. Rob and Kristen both will be promoting their respective movies, The Runaways and Remember Me in New York. Then there is Tom. Oh, Tom how we have grown to love you :) However, I feel the most important element in these photos HAS to be the Yellow Bag. Is Rob carrying Kristen's bag for her, or does he really have a giant yellow duffle? The world may never know.

Can't believe it? See more pics here.

Taylor Lautner Drops Mattel’s 'Max Steel' to Make Hasbro’s 'Stretch Armstrong'...

Forget Team Edward versus Team Jacob, Taylor Lautner found himself in the midst of a bigger rivalry in toy-obsessed Hollywood: Team Mattel versus Team Hasbro. And Vulture has learned that Hasbro just won this round; Lautner had originally been signed on to do both Paramount's Max Steel (based on the doll by Mattel, the world's biggest toy company) and Universal's Stretch Armstrong (a classic character for Hasbro, the world's second biggest toymaker), with Steel up first. But insiders tell us that Lautner has just dropped the Mattel movie.

Robert Pattinson's Upcoming TV Appearences...

The good thing about Robert Pattinson coming out with a new movie — you know, in addition to the fact that he's coming out with a new movie — is that his ever popular face will have to make obligatory stops at all many popular TV outlets to promote it. While the "Remember Me" tour will be a bit less involved than the "New Moon" on was, we're pretty excited about all of the TV shows he is going to be frequenting. What's even more exciting is that most of the visits will be firsts.

"THE TODAY SHOW"- March 1

Rob's first stop on the press tour stars March 1, where he will be kicking it off with a visit to "The Today Show." This isn't quite a debut, considering he already visited Matt Lauer while promoting "New Moon." However, we really dug the interview at the time, and we're sure Matt will pull out a great repeat performance.

"LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON"- March 1

It might seem surprising that March 1 will also mark Rob's first appearance on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner both made appearances here for "New Moon") considering as recently as February 10 he "made" a cameo appearance. Hopefully Rob will be able to get back at Jimmy Fallon for all his "Robert is Bothered" skits, maybe with a "Jimmy Fallon isn't as funny as he thinks he is and that bothers all of us" one? Yeah, we know it's not as catchy, but we're working on it.

"THE VIEW"- March 2

On Tuesday March 2, Rob will make his debut appearance on "The View" alongside costar Emilie de Ravin. ABC seemed pretty excited about it on their website news post, and they should have every reason to be. In fact, we're surprised it took them this long to find an excuse to get him on!

"THE DAILY SHOW" - March 2

If old women fawning over our favorite Brit isn't quite your think, Rob will also be making his first appearance on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" (!!!) that night. In fact, we are so excited about this appearance that we aren't even going to waste our times speculating on how Jon Stewart will treat Rob. Hopefully however that appearance goes, it will blow our minds.

Edward Cullen’s 'Twilight' House is For Sale....

Being a vampire in Stephanie Meyer’s "Twilight" series certainly has its perks: In addition to possessing devastating good looks, immortality, and superhero strength, Meyer’s blood-sucking movie brood live in the most luxurious, slick, beautifully appointed house in town. This week, CNN Money revealed that the real-life Cullen family abode (or, at least, the estate-turned-movie-set for Robert Pattinson and company in the film adaptation of "New Moon")—an immaculately renovated, modernist spread in West Vancouver—is currently on the market for a cool $2,998,000. That may seem steep, but it's an outright bargain compared to the original price tag ($3.298,000) when the home was first listed by agent Jason Soprovich last November.

Designed by architect Arthur Erickson, the five-bedroom, four-bath, 5,100-square-foot dwelling, which was given a meticulous overhaul in 2001, is set amidst a grove of towering trees, and is tucked away from the street by way of a long, meandering driveway. The soaring 20' ceilings were certainly handy for showcasing the Cullens' acrobatic skills, though the shimmering outdoor pool must have gone to waste—during daylight hours anyway. The house's extravagant amenities continue with a koi pond, an entertainment room with views of the adjacent creekbed, and a cushy master suite.

'Much Music' Reviews 'Remember Me'....

Can’t wait until March 12th to see Robert Pattinson’s new film? Fret not, Twihards, because we’ve got the scoop. We had a chance to attend a preview screening of Remember Me yesterday and can safely say that it will please existing Pattinson fans while – dare we say it – also introduce him to a whole new audience.

This is actually the second film Pattinson has released since the Twilight phenomenon made him one of Hollywood’s hottest stars. The actor starred as artist Salvador Dali in the limited release, Little Ashes, last year. Remember Me, tells the story of two people who meet through an unusual twist of fate and develop a relationship that may be threatened by some deep-rooted secrets.

So what can fans expect from the actor in Remember Me?

There’s R-Patz in a T-shirt and jeans, R-Patz getting wet in the shower and R-Patz – gasp! – shirtless in bed. He also gets hot and heavy with co-star (and rumoured summer fling) Emilie De Ravin, but don’t get the wrong idea; the movie definitely showcases Pattinson’s acting chops, rather than his good looks and charm. His character, Tyler, is an impulsive and rebellious college student struggling to deal with a death in the family and to re-start his life. De Ravin (best known as Claire on Lost), plays the young stranger who tries to help him cope, oblivious to the bonds that connect the two. It’s a mature and dramatic departure for both actors, which may surprise some of their younger fans.

This isn’t a typical love story either, so don’t expect a Dear John-like weeper. And be warned – the ending is a stunner. We won’t spoil it for you here, but suffice to say, it will have you gasping in disbelief.

Still not convinced? Here’s another incentive for you to catch the new flick: the trailer for Eclipse will premiere just before the film. He may be trying to establish himself as more than just a one-hit wonder, but it seems like Pattinson can’t shake the Twilight thing too far away just yet.

Kristen Stewart Reminisces About First 'Twilight' Interview...

The star looks back on simpler times — and defends her infamous 'treetop' comment.

From MTV:

This week is a very interesting time in the life of Kristen Stewart. On one hand, she's living the life of a movie star, winning BAFTA Awards, setting up plans to attend the Oscars and talking about her role in one of the year's most eagerly anticipated blockbusters.
On the other, she's waving goodbye to the last remembrance of her relatively anonymous youth — and the movie that, in a way, began her superstardom. It's called "The Yellow Handkerchief," and by now, every good Twilighter knows KStew shot the film as a 16-year-old indie star best known for being "that girl from 'Panic Room.' " But when this reporter caught up with her recently to discuss the romantic drama that finally opens this weekend, I almost felt like I should apologize.

"Hi," Kristen said as I walked into the room and complimented her and co-star Eddie Redmayne on a job well done. "When did you see it? Oh, you saw it at Sundance!"

And with that, we both began reminiscing about a unique circle that began two years ago. Stationed in Park City, Utah, to cover the Sundance Film Festival for MTV News, I caught a densely attended screening of "Handkerchief" — a movie I really enjoyed — then headed over to a small press conference in a tent outdoors.

After Stewart, Redmayne, William Hurt and Maria Bello answered questions from the press, the conference ended and each walked offstage in separate directions and found straggling reporters approaching them for quick chats. Full disclosure: The only reason I was there was to try to get Hurt to talk about "The Incredible Hulk." But since someone else grabbed Hurt first, I instead went over to Stewart, who was standing alone. We had spoken a few times in the past, so she recognized me, and we sat down in a pair of folding chairs in the corner of the tent. After a nice conversation about the movie, I asked the one simple question that every person in my profession ends every interview with: What are you shooting next?

"That was the first time you asked me about 'Twilight'!" Kristen smiled when we caught up last week at the "Handkerchief" junket. "I remember the interview! ... You were like 'So, what's up with this [movie]?' "

Actually, she brought up the film. "The movie is called 'Twilight,' " she said during that January 2008 encounter. "Catherine Hardwicke is directing it in Washington. It's based on a book that's pretty popular [among] young adult, high school kids."

"The main character is, like, superhuman," she said of Edward Cullen. "He's a vampire, but with really [heightened powers]. He can run faster than a car can drive, and he's super strong."

At that point, Stewart added that she would be co-starring with some British actor named Robert Pattinson.

"Was Rob cast? I guess I don't remember," she explained. "That's so weird."

The result was the first time Kristen had ever spoken in public about the "Twilight" films, and when we ran a Movies Blog item a bit later, the MTV News team was shocked by the post's record-setting traffic. That, in turn, gave birth to "Twilight" Tuesdays, the cast's appearances at the MTV Movie Awards, the media picking up on the phenomenon later that year and — well, you know the rest of the story.

Of course, at the time, KStew also got herself in a bit of hot water, saying, "He throws me over his back [in one scene], right before he's going to tell me that he's a vampire, and then he runs over the treetops. And we're going to be in real treetops; we're not just going to CGI it. We actually get to go up there, and that's what I'm stoked on."

Months before the cameras rolled in Portland — and before anyone else was even cast — that simple "treetop" comment was enough to get fans of the "Twilight" books worked into a tizzy. Now, all this time later, those very same fans love the "Twilight" movies and have come to accept Kristen as their Bella. One of the reasons they love the actress is because she has such a playful relationship with them.

"Do we not, like, run up the tree and play around?" Stewart said about the controversy in our recent interview. "You just have to choose your words like crazy [when it comes to 'Twilight']."

One question I get asked more than any other is what the "Twilight" stars are like in real life — and to that, I'd say that Kristen now seems more calm, cool and at peace with the "Twilight" chaos than ever before, as evidenced by how enthusiastically she reminisced about that first interview.

Dates Set for “The Runaways” Premieres in L.A. and New York...

From Gossip Cop:

There will be two red carpet premieres for “The Runaways,” Gossip Cop has confirmed.

The Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning rock biopic will premiere in Los Angeles on March 11. There will then be a New York City premiere on March 17.

“The Runaways” received a lot of attention last month at the Sundance Film Festival.

Stewart, Fanning, and film subject Joan Jett will all appear during Jay Leno’s first episodes back as host of “The Tonight Show.”

'Twilight' Kellan Lutz New PETA Ad....

Twilight star Kellan Lutz stars in a PETA ad with his adorable rescued mutt Kola to tell fans, "Adopt, Don't Buy." Every time someone purchases a dog or cat from a pet store or breeder, one fewer home is available for an animal desperately waiting in an animal shelter or roaming the streets.

Kellan Lutz and Kola for PETA

Each year, more than 7 million dogs and cats are left at animal shelters in the U.S.—and nearly half of those must be euthanized because of a lack of good homes. Kellan explains, "It's our job to take [animals] under our wing and take care of them and give them a place to live."

Animals sold in pet shops often come from "puppy mills," where they are housed in cramped, filthy, and unhealthy conditions and lack proper veterinary care. And in light of the current animal overpopulation crisis, it's clear that there's no such thing as a responsible breeder. Kellan tells PETA, "Kola is my best friend." If you're thinking about bringing an animal into your home, be sure always to adopt and never to buy.

Kristen Stewart Reveals The Secret To Creating A Great Love Story...

Kristen Stewart's newest film to hit theaters, "The Yellow Handkerchief," is a key aspect of the film's plot. The innocent teen romance between Kristen and her onscreen beau Eddie Redmayne contrasts with the grown-up reunion between ex-con William Hurt and his one love Maria Bello and explores the intricacies of love and relationships.

"What I love, that 'The Yellow Handkerchief' actually does, is that it shows there are different types of love," Kristen said. "There are different types of relationships, different types of people that can find a focus and adoration for each other, even in weird circumstances."

'Vogue' Cover for Kristen Stewart in the near future?

Lainey Gossip writes:

My sources tell me exclusively that Stewart’s presence at London Fashion Week is no accident. Anna Wintour is there. They are meeting. Similar to how Wintour was with Rachel McAdams, they are working out the details for Stewart’s ... VOGUE COVER. Should be dropping around the release of Eclipse. There was some discussion and negotiation around the interview – while Vogue is by no means as dishy as, say, Vanity Fair, they are pushing for more substance in addition to the expected style profile. And Stewart has been reluctant to open up personally. Wintour will try to dictate, Stewart will push back. The tension could lead to an awesome collaboration. Keep you posted.

Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner: Two Different Career Paths...

No one in Hollywood is hotter right now than Twilight actors Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. Producers are clamoring to put them in movies, and the two actors — Pattinson, 23 and Lautner, 18 — can pretty much make any kind of film they choose. So it’s interesting that their post-Twilight movie careers are shaping up to be so drastically different.

Lautner, 18, has just signed on for an action thriller called Abduction, about a man who discovers his own baby picture on a missing persons website. Lautner will also be playing a super-powered secret agent fighting terrorists in the film Max Steel, a martial arts fighter who has to save his kidnapped friends on vacation in Cancun, and the titular body-stretching superhero in Stretch Armstrong. Notice a pattern here? Lautner is definitely gunning to be the next big action hero, following a path similar to the one Will Smith took in the mid-90s.

Pattinson, on the other hand, is steering away from adrenaline-fueled hero roles and choosing small, intense character pieces. Next up is March’s Remember Me, in which the 23-year-old actor plays a tortured college student who finds romance after a family tragedy. Then, post-Eclipse, he’ll be making three period pieces: Bel Ami, about a lothario who sleeps his way to the top in 19th-century Paris (co-starring Uma Thurman); Unbound Captives, about a frontiersman whose children are kidnapped (also starring Hugh Jackman); and Circus, about a Depression-era circus (with Reese Witherspoon as the love interest). These choices are reminiscent of the films made by Johnny Depp earlier in his career.

So while Lautner’s new films will show off his abs, Pattinson’s movies will flex his acting muscles. Both are good strategies for staying in the spotlight — and while Lautner may emerge the richer man, we see Oscar buzz in Pattinson’s future.
