This week in our Robert Pattinson Round-Up we take a look at some of the major Pattinson headlines to hit the web in the past seven days, which included the upcoming release of the Robert Pattinson comic book, FAME, the scheduled Pattinson appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, the ridiculous rumor of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart being told to cool down on their alleged and unconfirmed romance, and more.
Robert Pattinson Not Bothered by Jimmy Fallon
Leading up to the release of New Moon in the midst of the increasing Robert Pattinson Twilight craze, Late Night host Jimmy Fallon dressed up as Pattinson for the "Robert is Bothered" sketch in a spoof of Twilight vampire Edward Cullen. Some of Fallon's more memorable skits include Robert Pattinson versus Harry Potter, a Pattinson dislike of Snickers bars, and Robert Pattinson comedically being bothered by Halloween. After all of the Fallon related Twilight comedy, Robert Pattinson will soon be dropping by the Late Night set on March 1 to talk to Jimmy about "Robert is Bothered".
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Told to Cool Romance
What would a week of Robert Pattinson related headlines be without more ridiculous romance rumors surrounding Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart? Last week the Robert Pattinson rumor had it that both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were apparently and allegedly told by their handlers to cool the Pattinson - Stewart romance since it wasn't good for business. Word hit the web last week that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were - again, allegedly - given slaps on the wrist from their management teams and the studios involved in their upcoming movies. When the "word" about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart comes from that ever elusive anonymous source, for us it translates into no word.
The FAME of Robert Pattinson
Although news of Robert Pattinson in his own comic broke months ago, the buzz for the FAME: Robert Pattinson comic is ramping up early, as Bluewater Productions revealed the release date for the Robert Pattinson comic will be May 2010. Ahead of FAME: Robert Pattinson, Bluewater also sent us the cover art and a few inside panels from the Pattinson featured FAME. Following on the heels of Twilight Saga author Stephenie Meyer and the Bluewater published Female Force, FAME: Robert Pattinson will be a 32 page comic style biography of the career of Pattinson.
Robert Pattinson Doing The View
Since Robert Pattinson will be in New York to promote Remember Me and see Jimmy Fallon, it only made sense for Pattinson to check in with the girls on The View, as it was reported that Robert Pattinson will make an appearance on The View on March 2. Although Robert Pattinson will be on The View to chat about Remember Me, it's hard to believe Pattinson will be able to get a word in between Whoopi, Barbara, Joy, Elisabeth, Sherri, and hundreds of screaming Twilight Saga fans of Robert Pattinson?
Robert Pattinson Answers Fans on Facebook
Although there was virtually no Twilight Twitter or Facebook activity from Robert Pattinson, the globally famous Pattinson ended his social media moratorium to help promote Remember Me in a segment called "Ask Rob", where the New Moon heartthrob does his best to answer fan questions posted on the official Remember Me Facebook page. During the initial launch of "Ask Rob", only one question was answered by Robert Pattinson, which had to deal with the Pattinson Remember Me character, Tyler, and what Rob thought of the script. "It was just different," revealed Robert Pattinson." It seems like in a lot of ways main characters in other movies, when there is a young guy who is the lead he always seems like a vessel, [he] always [has] to be so naive and ridiculously innocent so the audience can feel that with [him] in the story. Tyler didn't feel like that. He was a very specific character."
Robert Pattinson Talks Pierce Brosnan on Facebook
Although Robert Pattinson resisted the Twilight temptation of social media on Facebook and Twitter, Pattinson has since embraced the power of Facebook for his latest movie, Remember Me, by answering fan posted question via video in a new Facebook segment called "Ask Rob". The most recent Robert Pattinson answer to a fan question centered on how Robert Pattinson felt about working with Remember Me co-star, Pierce Brosnan, and how Pattinson was impressed at how well Brosnan handled his character, Charles.
