Kristen Stewart And Dakota Fanning On 'Runaways' Kissing Scene: It Was 'Not Done For Shock Value'
"New Moon” costars Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning have taken a bit of a detour from their vampire-inspired acting skills and brought it to a whole new level at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. Though the duo shares an onscreen kiss in the rock-and-roll indie flick “The Runaways,” the two insist that it wasn’t much of a big deal, in their eyes.
MTV News caught up with the ladies in Park City to ask them about their roles in the film. "I don't think it was ever a big deal to me," explained Dakota, who plays Runaways lead singer Cherie Currie, adding that having Cherie and Joan Jett (Kristen) kiss in the film "was just a thing, another day" for the characters.
Kristen agreed with her pal insisting that the kiss was just a part of the script and not done for shock value. "It was never a big deal to me either ... especially the way it was written into the story and the way it wasn't, 'And they finally get together,' " she explained.
KStew also went on to explain that the kiss was merely a reflection of the girls’ friendship in the film, and it isn’t really as controversial as it sounds. "It's like it was just one night, and they have such an awesome bond that's so cool to observe, so the fact that they made out when they were teenagers has nothing to do with it."

Kristen Stewart Talks 'Breaking Dawn' Script, Hopes Renesmee Won't Be A 'Scary, Teeth Baby'
Hollywood Crush wrote:
At the Sundance Film Festival, MTV News spoke with Kristen Stewart to see if she could shed some much needed light on the highly anticipated movie, but it turns out that the on-screen Bella Swan is just as in the dark as the rest of the franchise's fans.
"I don't even know if it's going to be one [film] or two, or who is directing it, or when it's even going [to start]," she admitted. "I know that it's going to go, but not when yet."
The most important issue facing Kristen's character is the birth of Edward and Bella's baby daughter Renesmee. In Stephenie Meyer's novel, Renesmee's birth is so graphic that Bella nearly dies but is ultimately converted into a vampire and saved by Edward. While the scene is currently unwritten as far as the "Breaking Dawn" script goes, Kristen is eager to learn how it will translate from book to film.
"I haven't seen a script, but I'm not alone in really, really wondering how they're going to handle that," she said.
As important as the birth scene itself is the baby that is born. Will Renesmee be played by an actual baby or will she be given the CGI treatment? It's a tricky question that Kristen doesn't have an easy answer for, but one thing is certain — Renesmee has to be adorable.
"Little Renesmee, she's got to be cute," said the actress. "She can't just be this scary superhuman teeth baby!

That's right Kristen! Renesmee needs to be the CUTEST BABY in the world because her daddy is Edward Cullen! =o)
Kristen Stewart Escapes The Sundance Chill In MTV's Photo Booth
From The Sundance Chill In MTV's Photo Booth:
"They're wrapped up in cozy jackets, knit scarves and most likely covered in remnants of snow, but that hasn't stopped the celebrities at the Sundance Film Festival from taking a seat in MTV's Sundance Photo Booth. Remember when stars used to take self portraits when they stopped by "TRL"? Well we're keeping that tradition alive with a booth set up in Park City."
Check out Kristen...Brrrr..It's cold in here.. xD
The rest of the pictures are here at MTV.

Jude Law Mentions Rob Pattinson's Hearthrob Status in an Interview..
Jude Law is looking forward to no longer playing Hollywood hearthrobs when he reaches 40.
The 37-year-old actor says he is reaching the end of his screen hunk status and it’s up to younger actors to take over the mantle.
He said: “I think it will be interesting to be old. It involves a lot of possibilities. The future doesn’t frighten me at all. On the contrary, I am looking forward to it.
“If I have a look around at the moment I feel great relief because finally others are entering the limelight. Men like Robert Pattinson must now play the Adonis. For me it was always a restraint, a restriction.”

Kellan Lutz Marries Mandy Moore In 'First Love, Then Marriage'
He may have lost the role of Conan the Barbarian to "Stargate Atlantis" actor Jason Momoa, but "Twilight" star Kellan Lutz has muscled his way into a new role in the romantic comedy "First Love, Then Marriage."
According to JustJared.com, Kellan will play Mandy Moore's husband in the rom-com, which also reportedly stars Blythe Danner (a.k.a. Gwyneth Paltrow's mom) and Christopher Walken. The film centers around Mandy's marriage counselor character, who after finding out her parents have separated, does all she can to bring them back together, to the detriment of her own new marriage.
The film is being directed by Dermot Mulroney, a man who knows a thing or two about romantic comedies having starred in the Julia Roberts-favorite "My Best Friend's Wedding."
This role marks Kellan's first foray into the genre, so we're curious to see how he fares. He's stated on several occasions that he wants to be the next big action star, but a role like this is no doubt a great way to diversify his resume. Mandy, on the other hand, isn't straying too far from her comfort zone having already played a newlywed in "License to Wed" and in real-life, marrying musician Ryan Adams in the spring of 2009.

Robert Pattinson's Rabid Fans Caused Heated Moments On Set For 'Remember Me' Director
With Sundance still in full swing, MTV got a chance to catch up with actor Chris Cooper in Park City and ask him about what is sure to be one of the bigger movies of the year: "Remember Me." Though the film isn't at the film festival, Chris had a few things to share about working with Robert Pattinson.
"We put up barricades 90 feet from the scene, and the people and paparazzi just didn't care," Chris said about the people who would swarm to watch scenes with Rob being filmed. "Robert was really under the gun, under a lot of pressure, and I know he's kind of learning to deal with it. And it's a lot to deal with."
Chris attributed "instant messaging" (the older generation's all encompassing term for text messaging, Facebook, and Twitter) for the amounts of people who would flock to the "Remember Me" set when they shot outdoor scenes. He said having NYU's campus nearby meant a lot of young female fans came to the set for a chance to see RPattz.
"He was doing scenes with a crowd of people 30 feet away from him and the paparazzi would not stop clicking the camera and there was a couple of hot, heated periods with the director [Allen Coulter] with that kind of intrusion," Chris said. "I know at his age, no way I could have handled it."
Coming from an Academy Award-winning actor, that says a lot. But Chris came into his own in Hollywood at a much later age than Rob did, and we wouldn't quite classify him as a young heartthrob, so when he makes comments like, "I think this is all kind of new to Robert," we think he might be talking more about himself than the man who has worked publicity for two "Twilight" movies.
