Every December for the last five years, New York Magazine publishes an issue called "Reasons to Love New York". The 2009 edition was just released and and as expected, a majority of their 41 reasons pertain to politicians, professional athletes, and the city's culture. However, one of their reasons is right up our alley! According to New York Magazine, the #16 reason to love New York in 2009 was "Because Robert Pattinson Kept the Gossip Columns Busy". Their chronological list of justifications contains everything from Rob getting attacked by rabid fans to...Rob getting attacked by a taxi. Some of this list is funny and some of it is scary, but it shows just how dominant Rob has become in Pop Culture. Maybe Rob is a reason to love NYC, but, really, did we need another reason to love Rob?
