'Twilight' Stars Continue To Help Haiti: Vampire Baseball Game Organized For March 20

Is there a thunderstorm coming on March 20th? It is if Doctor Cullen and The Wolf pack are playing Baseball. You know it's America's favorite pass time. The TwiGuys are getting together to help Haiti by playing Vampire Baseball in New Orleans.

Hollywood Crush writes..

"Not only are they beautiful, intelligent and super speedy, but as it turns out, vampires are also quite a giving bunch. In the wake of Haiti's catastrophic 7.0-magnitude earthquake earlier this month, "Twilight" stars have come out in full force to aid the cause. Robert Pattinson (beard, and all) made a plea for contributions during MTV's "Hope for Haiti Now" telethon, while costars Taylor Lautner and Anna Kendrick answered phones. Tinsel Korey took to MTV.com to voice her support for the telethon and Kellan Lutz was spotted donating a basket-full of clothes to a donation center. Now, fans can bolster their efforts simply by going out to a ball game.

"Twilight" stars Peter Facinelli, Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz and Tyson Houseman are teaming up for a special round of Cajun-Style Vampire Baseball in New Orleans on March 20 to aid relief efforts in Haiti. The cast will pitch against a slew of Big Easy celebrities including New Orleans Saints players Kyle Eckel and Lynell Hamilton, in addition to vamp movie veteran Wayne Douglas Morgan, who starred in "The Vampire's Assistant."

Tickets for the game start at $25 (there's a hot tub option for $55!) with proceeds going to the American Red Cross and Hope for Haiti Now, among others. Another kind of bloodsucker—a phlebotomist—will also be on hand for a blood drive. A meet-and-greet with the stars and a party/

concert will follow the game.

Visit the event's official site for ticket information and more details."

Keeping up with Taylor Lautner: Chaske Spencer is packing on muscle for 'Breaking Dawn'

It ain't easy looking buff next to weight-room prodigy Taylor Lautner, but that's precisely the task at hand for "Twilight" wolf pack leader Chaske Spencer (that's him on the right).

As alpha dog for the lupine gang, Spencer's character Sam Uley has to up his game in the muscle department for each installment, especially for the franchise's final film (or films?), "Breaking Dawn."

I caught up with Spencer making the rounds at "Access Hollywood's" Stuff You Must gift lounge in celebration of the Golden Globes. He's looking plenty worked out, but still took some tips from renowned celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak.

"He wants to put more muscle mass on," Pasternak said of his chat with Spencer at New Balance's Fierce Trax booth.

"Looking big and muscular on screen isn't about being big, it's about symmetry, definition and proportion."

Pasternak, who trained Robert Pattinson on the first film and the recent juggernaut "New Moon," advised Spencer to avoid typical "beach muscles" like his biceps and chest. Instead, he told the 34-year-old to focus on the upper back to create a burly neckline and narrow "shoulder-to-waist ratio."

We're sure his efforts will be handsomely displayed when "Breaking Dawn" begins shooting this fall. Meanwhile, the young man faces rampant promotion this June for "Eclipse" and is already dreading inquires about his maybe-dating costars Pattinson and Kristen Stewart...

... the actor told me what everyone seems to be saying: We know nada!

"Rob's a great guy; we hung out a few times on the set of 'New Moon,' but he's not really in it. I've got a lot of scenes with Kristen, who is a strong and intelligent actress," Spencer said.

But are they a couple?!

The werewolf simply shrugged his shoulders. At least he's starting his workout.

'New Moon' Star Chaske Spencer Wants Rob Zombie To Direct 'Breaking Dawn'

As we slog through the fallow period between "Twilight" franchise films — months before the June arrival of "Eclipse" and with no official announcement about production on "Breaking Dawn" — we can't help but start to do a bit of wondering. Can director David Slade's "Eclipse" out-gross $288-million-and-counting "New Moon"? Will "Dawn" eventually become two films, or just one? And who will direct it?

On that last question, the "Twilight" cast has not been shy with their thoughts about who would be the best fit. Kristen Stewart and Kellan Lutz have thrown their support behind "New Moon" helmer Chris Weitz. Jamie Campbell Bower, Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed have all eyed Tim Burton as the guy who can best bring the film — or films — to the big screen. Meanwhile, Summit Entertainment is rumored to want Weitz to return to the franchise.

With all these various opinions floating around, MTV News put the directorial question to "New Moon" werewolf Chaske Spencer when we caught up with the actor on the red-carpet premiere of "Youth in Revolt." His answer might scare you.

"I like both directors, David and Chris," he told us. "It's kind of a joke, but it'd be kind of cool to see what Rob Zombie does, if they ever choose to do him. That'd be cool. That'd be an interesting movie."

The metalhead turned filmmaker has directed a string of horror flicks, including "The Devil's Rejects" and two "Halloween" films. And there are undeniable horror-esque moments in "Dawn," from a fetus that begins to injure Bella Swan as it rapidly grows in her womb to her bloodily violent birth. Somehow, though, we imagine Zombie would be less adept when it comes to capturing the continuing love triangle between Belle, Edward and Jacob.

So we'll have to stay tuned on that one. In the meantime, does Spencer have a feeling if "Dawn" will become two films or one? Any insider knowledge to throw our way?

"I have no idea," he said. "I'll probably find out more from my agent later on in the week. I have no clue."

Chaske Spencer of New Moon Talks to Seventeen Magazine!!

New Moon werewolf Chaske Spencer, who plays Sam Uley, dropped by Seventeen to give us the low down on the Twilight the vampires v. werewolves cliques! Read more to find out how this hottie werewolf is adjusting to the spotlight and what it's like working with Taylor Lautner!

17: What's it like entering this New Moon world?

Chaske Spencer: It's like a hurricane! It's like you are in the eye of the hurricane when you are on set - everything is calm. Then you step out of set and everything in chaos. You don't really feel it until after you come out of production. But it's getting crazy. A few people have recognized me on the street already.

17: Did they prepare you for this? Or, did you assume it would be crazy?

CS: Not really, I didn't know how big this was going to get. When I got to set on New Moon, they talked about how it was going to change your life. I thought, yeah, yeah, yeah. When we started filming Eclipse, that's when it really started kicking in. We had paparazzi everywhere. We can't just walk down the street anymore in Vancouver.

17: Can you tell us about any crazy fans?

CS: We had a couple of girls specifically fly in and they got rooms at our hotel and they would wait there. Girls would also camp out right below our hotel balconies. You would look over the balcony and wave and just hear screams. There were a couple of girls that got on the set of Eclipse. It was really funny because I don't think they expected to make it that far. Once they got there, they just stood there with these wide eyes. Then they realized they got through security - and security is pretty tight! They had to get escorted off, but I give them credit for getting through.

17: What was it like making the movie?

CS: It was hard! We trained a lot. We had to put on mass weight. I packed on like 20 lbs. of muscle just working out. As soon as we got there, they got us a trainer who had helped out on the movie 300. If we weren't filming, we were working out. The acting part is easy, it's the preparing - lifting weights and getting your body in tip-top shape - that's the hard part. For our workouts, right off the bat we had to do 300 sit-ups every day. And we were on a special diet. We were eating like six meals a day - lots of protein and lots of vegetables. It helped us bond though. I wouldn't trade it for the world. It was fun. We were all going through this together.

17: What was it like working with Taylor?

CS: Taylor is a lovable man! He is so cool! First, he is raised right. He is a good kid. He's got his head on his shoulders and he's fun. He can be an adult when it comes time to work, but he is still 17 so he can be a kid as well. He gets really bored easily so between takes he will do flips and stuff. And he can do break-dancing and karate. The production people had to tell him to chill a few times because it got a little rowdy.

17: When you weren't working out, what did you guys do on set?

CS: We goofed around a lot. It's really fun because you get to hang out with these guys that you get along with. It was like a party. We would all pile into my trailer and watch a movie sometimes if it was taking a while to get to set or if they were busy filming something else. On off time, we would go to restaurants and clubs together. They were like my brothers.

17: On set, is it really vampires v. werewolves? Are there cliques?

CS: No! It's such a huge cast that everyone gets along but we don't get to see everybody. I've seen Rob on New Moon like twice, just in the makeup trailer, and then we go off to film our scenes. If we're filming, the vampires are off, and when they are filming, we are at the gym. So it's not a clique, it wasn't meant to happen, that's just the way it is. Everyone gets along, though.

17: We want to do wolf pack superlatives. Who's the fastest?

CS: Alex Meraz.

17: The smartest?

CS: Tyson Houseman.

17: The funniest?

CS: Bronson Pelletier.

17: The best looking?

CS: Kiowa Gordon. We called him heartthrob.

17: The clumsiest?

CS: Me! This is a new body I have. It's like I'm going through a growth spurt, like a 13-year-old.

17: How did you get started in acting?

CS: I was 21. I came to New York with $100 and a one-way ticket. I moved here in a last effort to make something out of my life. I started couch-surfing and bartending, and I got a lot of odd-jobs. Then I started landing acting gigs.

17: Did you always want to act?

CS: I think I did. I was interested in photography as well. I liked getting lost in movies. I'm a movie guy - I can get lost in anything. I really got into getting into characters and observing people. And, yeah, I didn't know this was going to happen.
